Your own page

You have one page nobody else can open. It is where you land when you sign in, and it is the page most people use most.

Nobody else sees it

Not your manager, not an administrator, not the person who set up the organisation. This is not a setting that can be changed — it is a property of how Smoke stores it, and it is checked by the test suite on every commit.

What it is for

Three things it does that a shared page cannot:

• Anything you are not ready to say out loud. A half-formed thought, a worry, a thing you keep meaning to raise. It stays yours until you decide otherwise.
• Drafts. A line you have written for somebody else’s page lives here until you publish it.
• Your work everywhere else, in one place. Smoke’s read of this page can see the lines you own on every other page, so it can tell you when something has been sitting untouched for weeks — which is the thing you notice last and need most.

Getting back to it

Tab moves between your pages in order, and your own page is one of the stops. There is no list to open first.
