Making a page for someone
Press + and name the person. If they are already in your organisation, Smoke makes the page you share with them and puts you both on it.
Which kind you get
Smoke works it out from the reporting line rather than asking:
- If one of you manages the other, you get a 1:1.
- If neither does, you get a peer page.
Both are shared pages: what either of you writes, the other sees.
If they are not in your organisation yet
You can still make the page. It is named for them and has only you on it — a place to keep what you are tracking about that relationship. Nobody is told, and nothing is sent. Adding them is a separate act you do when you are ready, and the page becomes shared at that moment.
This is also what happens during your first run, when Smoke offers pages based on who you meet with in your calendar: the offer stages the page, and nothing exists until you save it.
